White to play and mate in three!

White to play and mate in three!
Loving it! I am glad you remembered this position.
I t can’t be done in three, but four 1.e7..Kf5, 2.Bb2..Kg6. 3.e8Q*.Kf5, 4.Qxh5#
1.e7 is not the right plan.
It’s is good to see a famaliar theme my friend! All squares along a diagonal are not create equal! Bh8! Kf5 Kg7 Ke5 Kg6++
First move the top pawn, then black king will be move to down left corner .Now you move the top pwan to topmost box and get the queen. Now there is no chance to black king to move any box. So i.e. stale mate.
I think i.e. the answer
That’s true, but white can WIN! 🙂
For me the key was viewing the mate in 4. I admit to taking a while
with this one….
1. Bh8 Kf5 2. Kg7 Ke5 3. Kg6++ Beautiful!!!!(and thankyou for sharing this one)
As usual, Kimani’s on point!
