Armenia seeking to hold off field

Armenia has garnered great success in the past several years in team play and hope to continue the trend today as the 2011 World Team tournament goes into its final four rounds. The Olympiad champions from 2006 and 2008, Armenia has always had tremendous team chemistry which helps when trust is needed in crucial moments. As this point, they are the only undefeated team with only two board losses. They battle India in round six.

Russia and Hungary trail by a point with each team having arrived at seven points in different way. Russia has won by big scores while Hungary won closes matches against strong opposition. The top five teams will have key matches and the standings could change from round-to-round. Should be an exciting finish!
