16 days for Millionaire Chess push!

Back in December, Grandmaster Maurice Ashley made an appeal for the chess public to invest in the future of chess. This investment would go toward helping to change the face of chess tournaments under the name “Millionaire Chess“.

As we have said from the start, chess players have the power to make and be a part of history by signing up to play in the Millionaire Chess Open. Since our announcement in December, we have already heard from many of you who clearly see the vision and are just as excited as we are to bring chess to a new level.

While the deadline for the “early bird” discount is actually July 31st, more importantly Millionaire Chess is seeking to secure the 1500 entrants by March 31st to ensure that this historic tournament meets the funding requirements to proceed.

Ashley gave a very interesting interview about the vision for Millionaire Chess and how this tournament can change the face of chess.
