South Africa’s ChessCube.com
Mark Levitt of South Africa sent me a message about chesscube.com, an all-purpose chess website that includes gaming, news, blogs, forum and other features. He states,
I wanted to highlight www.ChessCube.com, a chess initiative started in Cape Town, South Africa. ChessCube is a free playing site, with a strong social aspect to it. ChessCube has recently developed a Club system in which third parties can create their own closed environments. ChessCube will be offering live interactive video lecturing as an alpha product for a closed community from February next week. This allows Club coaches to broadcast video/audio lectures with interactive boards via a standard web browser with no additional software required. ChessCube will be launching premium and free live video lectures from March 2008 and we welcome lecturers worldwide to contact us about joining our video lecture alpha testing program.
