A new Jamaican champion has been crowned! NM Warren Elliott won the Jamaican Championship with 8½-2½. The 21-year old phenom edged out five-time national champion NM Shane Matthews and defending champion NM Jomo Pitterson who tied for second with 8-3. Also in the hunt for the title were FM Grantel Gibbs, NM Duane Rowe and NM Robert Wheeler with 6½ points each.
