During GM Nigel Short's visit to Barbados, the "Bajans" set a course for participation in the 37th Olympiad in Turin, Italy. Barbados Chess Federation Vice President Peter Dawson was recently featured on a CBC television segment announcing the Olympiad squad.  He named as the team: IM Kevin Denny, National Champion FM Delisle Warner, FM Dr. Philip Corbin, NM Terry Farley, Martyn Del Castilho.  Dawson also mention that Justin Kirton, Justin Blackman, Kevin Daniel and Shamel Howell will also train with the team in an effort to provide a staging ground for new talent.
