The player of Progresso Macovi, Walquíria Rocha won Monday with anticipation her third consecutive national ladies chess title by defeating, here, Edna Gomes of JF School, in a fourth and penultimate round of the competition being held at the head offices of the Angolan Chess Federation.
Walquíria, who last May represented the country in the Turin Olympiads (Italy), leads the tournament indomitably with four points, followed by her team mate Engrácia de Oliveira with three points.
With this victory, Walquíria takes the title for the third time after having already during the 2004 and 2005 editions.
