Team Profile

Libya knows a few things about Olympiads… they served as hosts for the memorable 1976 Olympiad. That was a high point for the Libyan chess community which is rather small compared to its more active neighbors, Algeria and Egypt.  Libya completes the sphere of Saharan nations competing in this year's Olympiad.
